Scanpst.exe fails with Fatal Error: 80040818!

Scanpst.exe is capable to repair PST file which has been corrupted. This is the primary and free tool which outlook user used to repair corrupted file and get the solution. Scanpst.exe fails with fatal error 80040818 when it attempts to repair file size more than 2GB. To repair it you need to reduce the size of file. For that either you can archive file but this will not reduce the size. You can use crop utility which reduces the size of file by deleting some items of file but if all files are important for you then this would not be right decision.
